Q&A
Does the 4Shooter take batteries?
Nope, just hook it up and you're ready to go!
Does the 4Shooter work with any controller?
Yes! It will work with any 24V controller.
How long does the 4Shooter last?
The 4Shooter is designed to outlast the system. In general, if it is used within its specified limits (<1Amp) and under normal operating conditions, it should last for many years. However, there are external factors that will shorten it's lifespan such as misuse, lightning strikes, power surges, etc...
Can I install a 4Shooter to power a master valve?
Under it's current version, no.
What’s the max distance from the valve unit that a wire can be pulled?
This would depend on a variety of factors such as wire gauge, the condition of the wire, current draw of the solenoid, etc. Generally speaking, if you have ~24v at the end of the line, you're good to go.
What do the LED colors mean?
The LED is only a visual aid depicting 4Shooter color and which zone it's running while ON.
Why would I need the 4shooter?
Anytime you need to have 3+ zones working out of that same good field wire. Pool reroutes, separate garden bed irrigation, installation packages that involve adding more zones, breaking up large zones, system expansion, repairs when multiple wires aren't working, landscape changes, creating a "2-wire" system using existing controller, etc..
